Nine resorts spread out through the valley ensure you are spoilt for choice on any given day, with each mountain having it's fair share of beginner, intermediate and expert terrain. That being said, each resort has it's own personality and we encourage you to check out at least a few over the course of your stay. Happo-one is, of course, five minutes walk from our doorstep, but all the other hills are easily reachable by shuttle bus service. See you on the hill!

The Japanese love of Hot Springs, or "onsen" is inseparable from the national character. People will gladly travel many hours just for the chance to have a soak in one of the many thousands of hot springs throughout this volcanic country. Mimizuku No Yu is a local favourite, located half way between the Happo and the Hakuba Springs Hotel and Hakuba Station. On a clear day, the view from the outdoor bath up towards the mountains is spectacular. It's a little bit off the main foreign tourist path, and you're likely to find it busy with locals unwinding after a long day.
