A shuttle ride from the bus stop a few minutes away from the hotel bring you to the linked resorts of Hakuba Goryu and Hakuba 47. Goryu is known for it's boundless powder and tends to offer the longest season of the resorts in the valley. A shared lift pass with Hakuba 47 on the next mountain also gives you access to what is probably the best snow park around. On any given day you can take inspiration (or try to show up) some of Japan's top riders as they gather in the park.
Both mountains can be reached with a 30 to 35 minute shuttle ride from the Happo Bus Terminal up the street from the hotel.

Skiing and Snowboarding
Nine resorts spread out through the valley ensure you are spoilt for choice on any given day, with each mountain having it's fair share of beginner, intermediate and expert terrain. That being said, each resort has it's own personality and we encourage you to check out at least a few over the course of your stay. Happo-one is, of course, five minutes walk from our doorstep, but all the other hills are easily reachable by shuttle bus service. See you on the hill!

The Japanese love of Hot Springs, or "onsen" is inseparable from the national character. People will gladly travel many hours just for the chance to have a soak in one of the many thousands of hot springs throughout this volcanic country.
