If you’ve had a hard few days on the slopes or just want to relax for an afternoon or so, there are plenty of things to keep you entertained.
In our Izakaya bar SHUNROKU-TEI, If you’re looking for a bite to eat while you’re kicking back, we also offer a light-ish menu in the bar, all good tasting and good value. Local specialties include Shabu-Shabu hot pot course, Teriyaki Chicken, Deep Fried Shrimp, Sweet tender simmered pork belly, and assorted other light fare.
Though a little hard to find here in Japan, we've managed to procure a supply of Clamato juice to fuel that most Canadian (western Canadian?) of cocktails, the Bloody Caesar. Not to try and be too mysterious, the Caesar is basically a Bloody Mary, but in place of the tomato juice, it is mixed with Clamato juice. Clamato juice... basically tomato juice, with the addition of a little clam broth. Yum! All in all, it makes a delicious cocktail and a nice way to cool down on a hot summers day or to start the evening after a long day on the slopes.
